About us
We are a small family rabbitry located in south western Rhode Island. We specialize in friendly, well mannered, full pedigreed lionhead rabbits. All of our bunnies are handled from the moment they are born to ensure they are tame and used to being handled. Our lion heads all have a double mane. We specialize in torts, siamese sable, and red-eyed white colors. We are currently teaching our rabbits how to "pose."
The lionhead breed is a newer breed of dwarf rabbit. Lionhead rabbits are characterized by the mane of longer hair around the neck. All of our rabbits are double maned lioneheads which means not only do they have a mane of longer hair around the neck but they have a second mane that looks like a skirt of longer hair low on their sides. Their backs and faces have shorter hair. If a lionhead is keep outside in a climate where it is warm they may shed their manes during the summer. Lionhead rabbits weigh between two and three pounds and have very short ears that stick up. Lionhead live about 8-10 years.
